It looked pretty amazing using a macro lens. Those tentacles house its sensors. The two top ones are eyes and ears and the bottom two are for touch.

Seals are sometimes said to be solitary creatures. But that's when out at sea hunting. On shore (on a pontoon) they congregate. They just don't form close attachments apparently. I know some people like that.

Construction crews at Noss on Dart marina have installed this crane to assist in the building of the new hotel. On the opposite river bank in huge letters (50 metres high perhaps) are the initials "TFR". Which apparently means "Temporary Flying Restrictions". And so here is pictured an Army Wildcat helicopter temporarily restricting its flying. The long lens has foreshortened all distance, the aircraft was likely a couple of hundred yards away from the jib. But the crane driver might have had a few different thoughts.
